This modification improves Wardens and Parrots, you can control every features using in-game gamerules!
Includes a large focus on traversing worlds with enhanced world generation, structures, dungeons, and more for players to find unique loot.
Data Packs were introduced to vanilla Minecraft in version 1.13 and allow the server to modify data about the game, or run commands. Data Packs are compatible with all mod loaders.
Forge is a popular mod loader for versions 1.1+ of Minecraft.
Neoforge is a fork of the Minecraft Forge available for versions 1.20.1+ of Minecraft. Many Forge mods are compatible with Neoforge and vice versa.
Fabric is a mod loader for versions 1.14+ of Minecraft, particularly popular for client side and optimization mods.
Quilt is a fork of the Fabric mod loader. Many Fabric mods are compatible with Quilt and vice versa.

For custom mobs, use data; for non-custom mobs, use tags/scores! - WARNING! (for PaperMC and PurpurMC Hosters):
This datapack will only work correctly if you only change the below settings.
Head over to your server, and go to "config/paper-world-defaults.yml" or "purpur.yml" file.
Find this "allow-non-player-entities-on-scoreboards" and set that to true

All commands available to the player starts with /function .

Uninstall

Mobs
Warden
- Warden now fires a projectile Sonic Boom that can be dodged and damages multiple entities
- Sonic Boom's speed is 1 block per tick which travels 32 blocks/meters
- Sonic Booms get weaker, when they travel throught wool block -3 damage per block
- Endermans avoid Wardens and Sonic Boom
- Warden is immune to fall damage
- Warden melee damage reduced from 30 to 21
- Warden has chance to escape, depending on health:
- On full health: 1:(1/(500+1)) = ~501 seconds (on average)
- On the lowest health: 1:(1/(1+1)) = 2 seconds (on average)
- Warden’s Sonic Boom activates Sculk Shriekers
- Warden can generate a temporary sculk catalyst:
- 5% chance while idle
- 50% chance while angry
- Only if the block is sculk-replaceable
- Catalyst reverts to normal sculk if no Warden is within 32 blocks
- Temporary sculk catalysts deal 2 damage to nearby mobs
- Every mob can trigger Warden spawning in the Deep Dark, unless a Warden is already within 32 blocks:
- 0.16% chance per second for players
- 0.83% chance per second for mobs
- Warden gets stunned for 3–5 seconds if it becomes angry at a Parrot with 10% chance per second
- Sonic Boom now emit Sculk soul particles
- Sonic Boom destoys Amethyst Clusters and converts it into Echo Shard (Deep Dark only)
Parrot
- Parrots avoid the Warden and its attacks
- Parrot speed increased from 0.4 to 0.8 [+100%]
- Parrot health increased from 6 to 10 [+~66%]
- Parrots can now be bred with seeds
- Parrots regenerate health while sitting on your shoulder
- Baby parrots are born untamed, and when they grow up, they get automatically tamed
- Warden gets stunned for 3–5 seconds if it becomes angry at a Parrot with 10% chance per second
- Parrots on your shoulder now detect hostile entities:
- Scan 1 random entity within 32 blocks
- If the entity attacked you (or is aggressive), it gets Glowing for 3 seconds
- More nearby entities = lower detection chance
Items
Echo Bottle
- Crafted from 3 Echo Shards
- Stores 352 experience points (≈16 levels from 0)
- Has 90% efficiency (10% XP is lost)
- Hold right click in order to fill bottle
- When full, it's ready to drink
Shrieking Wand
- Crafted from 3 Blaze Rods, 1 Ender Eye, 2 Echo Shards, and 1 Ancient City Trim
- Durability: 250
- Costs 10 durability per use
- Cooldown: 3 seconds
- Can be repaired by holding:
- Wand in main hand
- Sculk block in offhand
- Each Parrot:
- Increases Boom damage by +2
- Reduces Wand durability cost by 1
- Deals magic damage
- Has critical particles
- Boom visuals:
- 12 damage → blue particles
- 14 damage → purple particles
- Boom weakens through blocks:
- Water: ×2 reduction
- Lava: ×4 reduction
- Blocks: ×10 reduction
- Wool: completely absorbs
Amulet of Echo
- Crafted from 4 Phantom Membranes + 1 Echo Shard
- Grants +64 absorption to parrots
- When on parrot:
- Emits aura flashes: Chance = (Absorption / 64) × 100% per second
- Gives player +4 absorption in 4-block radius on flash
- On shoulder: heals +4 health and emits glow particles
- You can interact with it using:
- Shears [Removes the amulet]
- Phantom Membrane [Fixes the amulet]
Recovery Compass
- Displays last death coordinates and distance
- Allows teleportation to death location
- Requirements:
- Echo Energy (1 per Echo Shard in offhand)
- 1 Ender Eye in inventory
- Energy cost: 1 + (distance / 1000)
- Usage:
- Hold right-click for 3 seconds
- Cooldown: 60 seconds
- Works only in the Overworld
