Meliorat
Meliorat is a vanilla+ Minecraft mod focused on improving overlooked mechanics and giving more purpose to underused features.
Current additions include:
- Functional Fletching Table recipes
- Better use for Ocelots
- Expanded Sniffer rewards
- Dolphin-guided reef exploration
- New Cauldron interactions
- Placeable clocks
- And more
Meliorat aims to feel like a natural extension of Minecraft rather than a separate progression system.
Credits
Special thanks to Nekoma for inspiring many of the ideas currently implemented in Meliorat, with likely more to come in future updates.
I discovered these ideas through Nekoma's Minecraft feature concept videos and adapted some of them into a playable modding format.
