Meltype MC - Smart Japanese Input for Minecraft

Meltype MC is a client-side Minecraft (Fabric) mod based on the intelligent English/Japanese auto-detection algorithm from Meltype (originally created by Yukishiro / 雪代). It lets you type Japanese and English (commands, mod items, coordinates, etc.) seamlessly in chat without ever manually switching keyboard input modes!

• Powered by Meltype's auto-detection logic: type Japanese romaji and English together naturally.

🔤 Always Selectable Raw Input

• Your originally typed alphabet string and the hiragana are always guaranteed to remain in the candidate list.
• Press Shift + Enter to instantly commit your raw input into chat.

⌨️ Familiar Function Keys & Muhenkan Key

• F10: Half-width raw alphabet
• F9: Full-width alphanumeric
• F7: Full-width Katakana
• F6: Hiragana
• Muhenkan (無変換): Cycle between Hiragana ➔ Katakana ➔ Alphabet.
• Shift + ←/→: Shrink / extend the part being converted, one character at a time (partial conversion).

🎯 Precise Japanese Conversion & Learning

• High-accuracy conversion with local learning, ensuring your preferred words are prioritized.
• Common Japanese words (ima, ha, sore, are, hidarite, settei, etc.) are protected and never falsely treated as English.

⚡ Slash Command Auto-Bypass

• Typing commands starting with / automatically bypasses the IME, preventing accidental conversions when using commands like /tp or /gamemode.

⚙️ Settings & Custom Toggle Key

• Right-click the "あ/A" icon in the chat box (or use the "Settings" button in Mod Menu) to open the settings screen.
• Register your own key (for example F8 or Ctrl+J) to switch the input mode.
• Works in chat, anvils, signs, and books.

• Works on vanilla servers and multiplayer servers without requiring server-side installation.

🔒 Privacy

• By default, Meltype MC uses Google's online Japanese transliteration service to convert your typing into kanji. While you convert, the hiragana reading you are converting (for example "きょうは") is sent to Google's servers. Nothing else is sent: not your player name, not the server you are on.
• If you do not want this, open the Meltype MC settings and set "Google変換" to "使わない" (off). The mod then works offline with its small built-in dictionary, so it can convert far fewer words into kanji.
• The "learning" feature only saves the words you pick on your own computer (config/meltype/learned_words.txt). It is never sent anywhere. You can turn it off in the settings, or clear it with the "学習履歴をクリア" button.

Meltype MC は、Meltype（雪代氏作）の英日自動判別アルゴリズムをMinecraft（Fabric）向けに移植したクライアント専用MODです。 チャット欄でキーボード（半角/全角）を切り替えることなく、日本語と英語（コマンド・アイテム名・座標など）をシームレスにタイピングできます。

✨ 主な機能

🧠 ハイブリッド自動判別入力（ローマ字＆英語）

• Meltypeの自動判別ロジックにより、半角/全角キーを押さなくてもローマ字と英単語をリアルタイムに自動判別します。
• 助詞（てにをは）を手がかりにした自動分割エンジンを搭載。スペースなしの kyouhadiamondwotoriniikou も自動で「今日はdiamondを取りに行こう」と一発変換できます！

🔤 原文（入力英字）の常時保持＆即時確定

• 変換候補リストの中に、最初に入力したアルファベット（原文）と、ひらがなが必ず残ります。
• Shift + Enter を押せば、変換候補を開くことなく最初に入力した英字をそのままチャットへ即時書き込み確定できます。

⌨️ 日本のIMEでおなじみのファンクションキー＆無変換キー対応

• F10: 半角英数（最初に入力した文字そのまま）
• F9: 全角英数
• F7: 全角カタカナ
• F6: ひらがな
• 無変換キー: ひらがな ➔ カタカナ ➔ 半角英字 の順にトグル切り替え
• Shift + ←/→: 変換する範囲を1文字ずつ縮める／伸ばす（部分変換）

🎯 賢い誤爆防止と学習機能

• 「いま」「は」「どうろう」「それ」「あれ」「ひだりて」「せってい」などの日本語日常語が英語として誤判定されるのを防止。
• 一度変換・選択した単語を学習し、次回から最優先で候補に表示します。

⚡ スラッシュコマンド自動バイパス

• /tp や /gamemode など、/ から始まるコマンド入力時は自動的にIMEがオフになり、誤変換のストレスがありません。

⚙️ 設定画面と、好きなキーでの切り替え

• チャット欄の「あ/A」アイコンを右クリック（または Mod Menu の「設定」ボタン）で、設定画面が開きます。
• 好きなキー（例: F8、Ctrl+J）を、入力モードの切り替えキーとして登録できます。
• チャット、金床、看板、本で使えます。

💻 完全クライアントサイド動作

• サーバーへのMod導入は不要です。バニラサーバーや各種マルチサーバーで、そのままご使用いただけます。

🔒 プライバシーについて

• 初期設定では、漢字に変換するために、Google のオンライン変換サービスを使います。変換するとき、変換中のひらがな（例:「きょうは」）が Google のサーバーに送信されます。 ほかのもの（プレイヤー名、入っているサーバーなど）は送りません。
• 送りたくない場合は、Meltype MC の設定画面で、「Google変換」を「使わない」 にしてください。そのあとは、通信せずに、内蔵の小さな辞書だけで変換します（漢字にできる言葉は、ずっと少なくなります）。
• 「変換学習機能」は、あなたが選んだ言葉を、あなたのパソコンの中にだけ保存します（config/meltype/learned_words.txt）。どこにも送りません。設定で OFF にしたり、「学習履歴をクリア」ボタンで消したりできます。
