Description

MentionPinger plays a sound alert whenever your name appears in chat so you never miss a message on a busy server.

Simply install the mod and it works out of the box. Your Minecraft username is detected automatically, and a ping sound plays the moment someone mentions you. No setup required.

Features:

  • Automatic username detection — no config needed to get started
  • Configurable ping sound, volume, and pitch in-game via Mod Menu
  • Reload your config on the fly with /mentionping reload
  • Case-insensitive matching so "Cosmo", "cosmo", and "COSMO" all trigger a ping
  • Fully client-side — works on any server, vanilla or modded
  • Lightweight with zero performance impact

Configuration is handled through Mod Menu (if installed), where you can adjust the volume, pick from several built-in sound tones, and fine-tune the pitch to your liking — all without leaving the game.

Compatible with Fabric 1.21.x. Requires Fabric API.
