MineDMX is a powerful, highly technical Minecraft mod (built for NeoForge 1.21.1) that bridges the gap between a voxel world and real-world theatrical production. It introduces a suite of fully dynamic, responsive stage lights that can be placed and orchestrated directly within your Minecraft stages, concert venues, and theaters.

  • A Full Lighting Rig: Equip your stage with 5 distinct fixture types, each with custom beam rendering and unique physical casings:
    • Moving Heads: Sweeping, dynamic spotlights with seamless continuous rotation.
    • Lasers: True-to-life, 21-beam "Laser Sky" fan projectors.
    • Bar Lights: Wide, horizontal bracket lighting (Wash).
    • Accent Lights: Small, versatile stage-wash fixtures.
    • House Lights: Flat, ceiling-mounted plates for ambient room lighting.
  • External DMX Synchronization: The true magic of MineDMX is its seamless, high-frequency UDP network integration with Lumina Spot, a powerful standalone stage lighting companion app now available for macOS and Windows.
  • Bi-Directional Live Sync: MineDMX automatically broadcasts your stage layout back to Lumina Spot as you build it. When you trigger cues, MineDMX natively decodes Lumina Spot's 30fps effects streams (like pulses, disco roaming, and circle sweeps) using exponential decay physics for incredibly smooth, club-accurate fixture movements.
  • The Controller & Remote: Use the physical DMX Controller block to act as your networking hub, and instantly bind individual fixtures to specific DMX channels on the fly using the Lumina Remote item.
  • Zero-Culling Render Engine: Built with a custom frustum-culling bypass so your massive laser beams stay visible in the sky, even when the fixture housing is miles out of your camera's view!
