Description

Mineral Origins

Mineral Origins is a Minecraft mod focused on reimagining how ores are discovered, processed, and obtained.

Instead of simply mining ore blocks and smelting them, minerals are found in ore veins, which can be broken down into Mineral Shards and processed into useful materials through different methods.

The goal is to give each mineral its own identity, with unique processing methods, resources, and ways of obtaining them.

🚧 This mod is currently in early development.

More minerals, processing methods, and mechanics are planned for future versions.

Versioning

Mineral Origins uses a custom versioning system:

  • MAJOR — Marks the beginning of a new development era, not necessarily breaking compatibility.
  • MINOR — New content, mechanics, and features.
  • PATCH — Bug fixes, balancing, and small improvements.
