Miner's Glasses
About
Miner's Glasses is a mod that adds new ways of mining in the game, you can make these glasses simply using the new lens item. With the new glasses equipped, you can press the glasses ability key (default set to H), this will make all ores in a nearby radius glow and become easy to identify (similar to an xray). The glasses have upgrades that make you see more different ores, for example, with the coal glasses you can see coal ores, with the lapis lazuli one you can see coal and lapis lazuli ores, with the copper one you can see coal ores, lapis lazuli ores and copper ores, the upgrades go on and on. The mod uses forge and geckolib.
Getting Started
You can craft the lenses using 3 amethysts and 6 glasses on a crafting table, with them you can craft the first glasses, which have no function, but with 8 coals you can create the coal glasses, some upgrades will require a smithing table and a smithing template (the Glasses Template, made with 1 gold and 8 coppers). To repair the glasses you only need an anvil and lenses.
The Upgrades
The upgrades order is:
- Miner's Glasses - default glasses made of 2 lens, 2 gold ingots, 4 copper ingots and a glowstone dust:

- Coal Glasses - on a crafting table you can put the first glasses in the center and coals around it;
- Lapis Lazuli Glasses - On a smithing table you can put the Coal Glasses in the base slot, a lapis lazuli in the addition slot and a glasses template in the template slot;
- Copper Glasses - On a smithing table you can put the Lapis Lazuli Glasses in the base slot, a copper ingot in the addition slot and a glasses template in the template slot;
- Iron Glasses - on a crafting table you can put the copper glasses in the center and iron ingots around it;
- Redstone Glasses - On a smithing table you can put the Iron Glasses in the base slot, a redstone in the addition slot and a glasses template in the template slot;
- Gold Glasses - On a crafting table you can put the redstone glasses in the center and gold ingots around it;
- Emerald Glasses - On a smithing table you can put the Gold Glasses in the base slot, an emerald in the addition slot and a glasses template in the template slot;
- Diamond Glasses - On a crafting table you can put the Emerald Glasses in the center, a diamond block in the top and diamonds around it;
- Netherite Glasses - On a smithing table you can put the Diamond Glasses in the base slot, a netherite ingot in the addition slot and a glasses template in the template slot;
