Store those Drops with a Block!

(Also known as the Official Millet Mod)

Feel free to use this mod in any packs you may want to create ^__^

Thank you to SmellyModder for supplying me with the code used to allow for directional facing blocks And to AutumnWitch and her Starbound OC, Millet, for inspiring the bone and flesh blocks. Thanks to Cadiboo for helping me through the 1.2 update, specifically with rendering entities and creating explosions.

This mod adds a few blocks that can be crafted with nine of the same mob drops. For now, that includes: Zombies (rotten flesh), Skeletons (bones), Spiders (spider eyes), Creepers (gunpowder), Blazes (blaze rods + blaze powder), Chickens (feathers), Cows (leather), as well as a block made of 9 sticks that makes a nice building material as well as being a storage block for sticks.

As of Release 1.1 it also adds a few new drops in Cow Hide (from Cows) and Creepy Moss (from Creepers). Both of these can be used to craft new storage blocks with unique textures (See 'Image' tab). If you would prefer to not have the 1.1 features, version 1.0 should work fine.

The good thing about the mob drop storage blocks included so far is that they're all commonly farmed, so if you really like the look of any of these blocks it shouldn't be too much of a hassle to gather materials to build with them. If they seem too expensive, please remember that they also function as a storage block, so they're as cheap as they can be while also holding 9 of a material.

I didn't include blocks like ghast tears since I rarely see anyone have enough of those that they'd need a storage block. And I didn't include ender pearl blocks since the concept didn't make much sense to me, personally. Maybe in the future though! I'll consider ideas~

New Features in Release 1.1:

-Minor block property + texture adjustments

-Added Block of Leather

-Added Cow Pattern Blocks + Mooshroom Pattern Blocks

-Added two new drops to Cows and Mooshrooms: Cow Hide + Mooshroom Hide

-Added Creeper Pattern Block

-Added a new Creeper Drop: Creepy Moss

-Added Leather Strips (Craft these from Hide; 3 of these make a Leather)

-Blocks of NetherWart are now uncraftable back into 9 NetherWart

-#TeamBrownMooshroom (I didn't add a new mob, but I did show support in another way)

New features in Release 1.2:

-Creeper Print block has been renamed to "Block of Creepy Moss"

-New decorative carpets/mats can be crafted out of materials such as Creepy Moss, Cow / Mooshroom hides, Leather and Sticks (most are crafted with two of a material, check JEI for more info)

-Creepy Moss Blocks, Creepy Moss carpets are explosive, but only via Flint and Steel.

-Blocks of Gunpowder are also explosive now (work like tnt but with a bigger boom). Be careful and have fun!

-New textures !

-Leather strips removed; Hide crafts directly into leather now.

-Creepy Moss can craft into gunpowder

-Skeleton arm still not implemented

-Stick Bundles smash into 9 sticks when broken; Stick mats break into 3.

-At least one or two hidden features

 New features in Release 1.3:

New Stuff:

+ Added Block of Ink Sacs: they cause a brief effect of blindness when stood on/punched.

+ Added Nests (egg storage block): they're a custom block model and are hopefully useable in building.

+ FINALLY Skeleton Arms drop from Skeletons!!!! AAAAAAAAA FINALLY

It's got a nifty new 3d model and is a somewhat rare-ish drop from Skeletons. It's basically a sword that swings twice as fast and has damage comparable to a wood sword. With its speed buff its on par with Iron, I believe? It's subject to being rebalanced in the future based on feedback. You can also craft it into 7 bonemeal if you'd prefer.

tweaks:

-Organized Creative Menu Tab (this organized it in JEI too)

- Standing on or punching Ink Sac Blocks causes blindness. There's also a particle effect if you punch or stand on them.

- Standing on or punching Blaze Rod Bundles and Blaze Powder Blocks has a light flame effect; they do not damage you.

- Hitting certain storage blocks plays a sound that the mob it originates from would make. I didn't go over-board with this. An example is hitting a Block of Ink Sacs sounding like hitting a squid or hitting a Block of Creepy Moss sounds like a creeper taking damage. Nothing weird that doesn't make sense.

- Am I forgetting something?? maybe. I'm not being coy, I just really don't remember. I made a bunch of tiny tweaks for this update so I hope you'll like it.

Those who play with this mod in survival: Let me know what you think!

Feedback is appreciated! :>
