Description
Mob Volume (Minecraft 26.3 / Fabric)
Version 1.0.0
Mob Volume lets you control the sound volume of individual mobs, separately from your main game volume. Tired of villagers huu-ing too loud, or want to turn cows down so you can actually hear yourself think? This mod gives you a slider for that.
Features
Per-Mob Volume Sliders: Open the Mob Volume screen to see every mob in the game, each with its own slider from 0% (silent) to 200% (louder than normal). 100% is the default, unmodified volume.
Searchable List: Quickly find the mob you're looking for by typing part of its name.
Individual & Global Reset: Reset any single mob back to 100% with one click, or use "Reset All" to clear every change at once.
Comprehensive Coverage: Includes every mob in the game — animals, monsters, villagers, golems, bosses, and anything added by other mods you have installed.
Settings Persist: Your volume adjustments are saved automatically and carry over between play sessions and worlds.
Controls
Mob Volume has no default keybind. To open it:
1. Go to Options → Controls
2. Find "Open Mob Volume" (under the Mob Volume category)
3. Bind it to a key of your choice
Installation
Singleplayer / LAN: Drop the .jar into your mods folder — that's it.
Multiplayer: Since Mob Volume only changes what you hear on your own end, it only needs to be installed on your client, no need to install it on the server or ask other players to install it too.
