About
Description
This mod rewrites the block destruction mechanism, allowing block damage to be stored persistently. By default, a block’s durability is calculated based on its hardness and explosion resistance, but players can also configure the durability for each block type. Additionally, the mod introduces various types of bars to reinforce blocks. These bars can replace blocks when they are destroyed and some have special effects.
The mod adds AI for mobs to destroy blocks. Unlike other AIs, the mod’s AI can share mining progress because damage is stored, enabling multiple mobs to mine the same block simultaneously. Moreover, the mod allows players to configure the mining abilities of mobs by inputting simple functions, making their mining power dynamic based on in-game days and mob attack strength.
Additionally, after installing the mod, projectiles can also deal damage to blocks. The damage for blocks dealt by projectiles and the area of effect can be configured, and simple functions are supported for customization. (Compatible with TACZ and Superb Warfare)
The mod also innovates the explosion mechanic. Even blocks that are immune to explosions will still take damage. Blocks can be destroyed after multiple explosions, and the damage caused by explosions can also be configured.
Finally, the mod introduces the /breakBlock command, allowing players to modify block damage in bulk.
You can use it on non-bussiness servers and modpacks. For bussiness use, you need to obtain my permission.
