Island Generation for Modern Beta Forge 1.12.2!
An add-on for Modern Beta Forge for 1.12.2 (versions 1.8.0.0 or later) which adds island generation for Beta, Alpha, Infdev 20100611, and Pocket Edition terrain generators.
Now featuring improved generation as compared to the original Fabric Modern Beta.
World Presets
Select from one of these world presets in the Modern Beta world customization menu to quickly get started:
- Xbox Legacy -- Inspired by the early TUs of Minecraft Xbox 360 Edition.
- Survival Island -- Survive on a small island.
- Waterworld -- Start on a small island and venture out into the seas for resources.
Usage
For quick usage, customize the Modern Beta world type, then go to Presets, and finally select from one of the provided presets.
Alternatively, you can modify several settings to control the size and shape of the island, how gradually the island transitions into the ocean, etc. from the Add-on tab.
Server Usage
The following should be done in the server.properties file:
- Set the 'levelType' field to 'modernbeta', without the quotes.
- Set generation options in the 'generator-settings' field. You can create the generator options string using the in-game GUI.
