Modern Phone

A real smartphone that you can craft and carry around in Minecraft. It has a home screen, apps, notifications, and a PIN-protected lock screen. Everything happens inside the game.

What You Can Do With It

Talk to other people

• Send private messages and create group chats

• Post a status that your contacts can see

• Save contacts and add a profile picture to them

• Call anyone on the server, with voice and video if you have Simple Voice Chat installed

Share What You Build

• A server-wide social network with likes, comments, and reposts

• A camera that takes pictures of the world in front of you, with filters and selfie mode

• A gallery that stores your photos, organized by day

Have Fun and Stay Organized

• Play chess against other players or the phone itself, with daily challenges

• Tetris and 2048

• Notes, calculator, clock with alarms, and stopwatch

• A drawing app with layers and brushes

• Music, including MIDI files that play through note blocks for everyone nearby

• Weather, health monitor, and a breathing app for when you need a break

• A control center and notification center, just like on a real phone

How to Get One

Craft it using iron, glass, redstone, and copper:

Right-click while holding the phone to open it.

On a Server

Everything you save is stored on the server, so your messages, photos, and contacts stay with you between sessions. Your phone is exclusively yours: other players cannot open it, and you can lock it with a PIN.

Server operators can enable or disable administrative moderation in the settings.

Voice and Video Calls

Voice and video calls require Simple Voice Chat. It is optional. Without it, the phone will continue to work and calls will still ring, but you won't be able to hear anyone.

Nothing else is required.

Supported Versions

• Minecraft 1.21.1 on NeoForge, Forge, and Fabric

• Minecraft 1.20.1 on Forge and Fabric

A single file works across all compatible loaders for each Minecraft version.

Language

The phone's interface is currently in Brazilian Portuguese. The item name and settings screen have been translated, but the apps themselves are not yet fully translated.
