To The Moon We Go

Welcome to the moon mod, the moon mod adds a new dimension to the moon and new ores, weapons and structures (it doesn't work for 1.16.6 yet currently it only works for 1.18.2 but I will fix that soon!)

Getting to the moon

So at first, you must wonder how I can get to the moon. first, you will need some moon blocks to make a moon portal, to get moon blocks you need to craft it with moon dust in a slab format and there is 3 ways you can get moon dust, 1 is trading with a wandering trader 2, rarely in caves you will be able to find 1 or 2 old moon blocks which when put on the new refining table (recipe photo) with a piece of coal it turns into moon dust and last you can find a bunch of old moon ore alongside some other minerals in the new meteor structure!

The Moon And Ores

Once you make a portal out of moon blocks and light it up with flint and snow  you will be granted access to the moon, you will have moon gravity which makes you slower but allows you to jump much higher and make you take less fall damage there is also a dome structure with a single tree in, neat, the moon has 2 (and 1 more to come!) main ores which are Atheyst ore and cheese Yum! for now cheese is just food and I will take about Atheyst  in the weapons section, the moon is populated by aliens who attack in groups and drop alien flesh which tastes gross.... but when cooked turns into a delicious meal 

Weapons

With 2 moon blocks and a stick you can make a moon sword, the moon sword does not do much damage itself but it gives the enemy levitation which when used well you can make some deadly combos and kill your opponent with fall damage, with 2 raw alien flesh and a stick you can make an alien sword which does very little damage but will also greatly poison your enemy last is the  Atheyst bow which is a better bow that does a lot of knockback, nice! you can craft one yourself with 3 Atheyst and 3 Atheyst  string wich costs 3 Atheyst  to make and it requires Atheyst arrows  wich is the same recipe as arrows but instead of flint its Atheyst (we also have a bazooka and dirt launchers but they are currently being made and you can only obtain them in creative mode)

Whats to come next?

You can get a bazooka and dirt launcher but they are currently only available in creative mode there is also glowsticks and last mineral but they currently don't do anything so stay tuned!
