Overview
Adds a variety of new attributes to the game, further expanding the customization capabilities of the attributes.
Attributes That Affect All Living Entities
- Damage Cap – Limits the maximum damage taken from a single hit. Only the modifier with the smallest value takes effect. Supports both fixed numeric and percentage-based damage caps.
- Physical Damage Reduction – Reduces damage that does not bypass armor.
- Magic Damage Reduction – Reduces damage tagged as magic in the mod's configuration.
- Environmental Damage Reduction – Reduces damage from environmental sources with no direct attacker.
- Damage Reduction – Reduces all types of incoming damage.
- Magic Armor – Armor value specifically against magic damage.
- Magic Armor Toughness – Armor toughness specifically against magic damage.
- Dodge Chance – Probability to avoid an attack entirely.
- Hit Chance – Probability to land an attack on the target.
- Final Hit Chance – Modifier applied to the final hit probability.
- Final Dodge Chance – Modifier applied to the final dodge probability.
- Invincibility Frame Cut – Chance to reduce the target's invincibility frames when attacking.
- Invincibility Duration – Scales the length of invincibility frames after being hit.
- Arrow Damage – Scales the damage dealt by arrows.
- Arrow Speed – Scales the flight speed of arrows.
- Critical Hit Chance – Probability to trigger a critical hit.
- Critical Hit Damage – Damage multiplier when a critical hit occurs.
- True Damage Conversion – Converts a portion of damage into true damage.
- Bonus True Damage – Additional flat true damage added to each attack.
- Magic Damage Conversion – Converts a portion of damage into magic damage.
- Bonus Magic Damage – Additional flat magic damage added to each attack.
- Magic Damage Multiplier – Multiplier for all magic damage dealt.
- Life Steal – Restores health as a percentage of damage dealt.
- Melee Life Steal – Restores health as a percentage of melee damage dealt.
- Ranged Life Steal – Restores health as a percentage of ranged damage dealt.
- Magic Life Steal – Restores health as a percentage of magic damage dealt.
- Regeneration – Health restored per second.
- Percent Regeneration – Health restored per second as a percentage of maximum health.
- Incoming Healing – Scales all healing received by the player.
- Damage Multiplier – Multiplier for all damage dealt.
- Size – Controls the scale of the entity's model and collision box.
Attributes That Affect Players Only
- Eating Speed – Scales the speed of eating and drinking.
- Bow Draw Speed – Scales the speed of drawing a bow.
- Hunger Rate – Scales the depletion rate of the food bar.
- Mining Speed – Scales the mining speed.
Damage Type Definitions
- Physical Damage – Damage that does not bypass armor; reduced by Physical Damage Reduction and standard armor.
- Magic Damage – Damage types listed in the
consideredMagicDamageconfig entry; reduced by Magic Damage Reduction and Magic Armor. - Environmental Damage – Damage originating from the environment with no damage source entity.
- Melee Damage – Damage dealt directly by an attacker within the attacker's reach range.
- Ranged Damage – Damage dealt indirectly by an attacker (e.g., arrows fired from a bow).
Important Notes
- Multiplicative stacking for chance-based attributes: e.g., two +50% dodge modifiers result in a 75% total dodge chance (not 100%). The only way to reach 100% is a single +100% modifier.
- Mixin injection into
getAttributeValue()ensures probability attributes return the actual stacked value (e.g., 75% instead of 50%+50%). - Tooltip display – Chance and rate attributes always show as percentages. The Damage Cap attribute displays as a value or percentage depending on the operation type. Non-
ADDITIONmodifiers are suffixed with "Potency" for clarity (e.g., "Dodge Chance Potency").
