More Lantern Colours

The whole emotional spectrum, for LightFreecs' Super Hero Mod.

Green was never the only colour. This add-on brings in the Red, Yellow, Blue, Indigo and Orange Lantern rings. Each one has its own question, its own battery and oath, its own suit, and its own powers. And yes, Parallax is in here too.

How it works

Everything you do feeds your emotional spectrum: Will, Fear, Rage, Hope, Compassion and Greed. Mine obsidian and you build Will. Win raids and you build Hope. Kill everything in sight and you build Rage. Press U to see where you stand.

Push one emotion past 3000 and you can Create a Spark at an Ancient Ruined Battery, a ruined tower hidden in jungles and lush caves (shipwreck maps help). If the battery wakes, its ring comes looking for you. If you're the first, you lead that Corps.

The rings

  • Red (Rage). Plasma Blood leaves your enemies bleeding for days. Rage Empowerment turns every hit you take into a firestorm. But the ring is bound to you: take it off and you die.
  • Yellow (Fear). Fear Toxin haunts players with blindness, whispers and something watching from the dark. It also makes nearby Green Lanterns falter.
  • Blue (Hope). Heal anyone, charge your friends' rings, and tear the yellow out of a corrupted Green Lantern.
  • Indigo (Compassion). Lock-on healing, cures for zombie villagers, teleportation, and the power to rip a Red ring off its owner.
  • Orange (Greed). There is only one. It lasts five times longer than any other ring, and raises an Army of the Past from everything you've ever killed.
  • Parallax. A Green Lantern who gives in to Fear gets a merged ring that never comes off. Then the dreams start.

Every ring also gets Suit Up, Specular Projection (a copy of you that follows you, mines and scouts), a Temporary Shield, and a Flight Aura.

Lantern Corps

The first person to wake each colour becomes its Leader. Leaders hit 10% harder, keep their ring when they die, and can use Obedience to strip a ring from a disobedient member, or force one onto someone who never asked for it. Say no to joining a Corps and you're a Lone Soldier. Nobody can take your ring, but nobody has your back.

Good to know

  • Rings visit on their own once a colour is unlocked. You can change the daily chance in the Superhero Game Rules menu.
  • /spectrum add <emotion> <amount> gives you points if you just want to try a ring.
  • The optional Classic Metals texture pack gives the rings an old-school metal look.
