Description
This mod adds a varity of new Zombie-themed hostile mobs to spice up your survival gameplay as well as an all new dimension with a boss to defeat.
Many of the new mobs have special abilities which increases the difficulty to deal with them.
Overworld (from left to right):
1. Furious Zombie
Fast, strong and deadly
2. Dark Zombie
Stronger than a normal zombie, applies the Darkness effect on players, breaks torches placed on the ground
3. Zombie Runner
Ultra fast, but low damage and hit points. Spawns 3 vanilla zombies on death.
4. Zombie Spitter
Spits poisonious slime for damage and obscured vision
5. Zombie Summoner
Slow, but has a chance to spawn a vanilla zombie when hit
6. Zombie Horde
A big horde of slightly faster zombies
Nether:
1. Burning Zombie
An undead, burning creature that sets the player on fire upon contact
End:
1. Ender Zombie
An undead creature, wandering around on the End islands
The Dark Dimension:
You can create a portal frame using Bloody Stone. Right-click it with an Magic Igniter to create the portal to the Dark Dimension.
Tip: The dark dimension is nearly completely dark, so the nightvision effect is a must-have for your trip.
You will find an odd landscape filled with new blocks, plants, ores and a new mob called Zombie Soul.
Also, the Zombie God boss can be summoned only in the Dark Dimension:
To summon the Zombie God you will first have to craft a God Totem. To get the required ingredients, you will have to kill different kinds of zombies in the overworld and the nether first, as well as finding some of the new ore in the Dark Dimension.
Once you managed to obtain the God Totem, you will have to find a Ritual Stone, which generates randomly in the Dark Dimension. Right-click the Ritual Stone with the God Totem to summon the Zombie God.
Important information:
- Forge for Minecraft 1.20.1 is required!
- I recommend using an item and recipe viewing mod like JEI
- This mod is a complete rewrite of the original More Zombies mod for newer Minecraft versions. It won’t be an exact copy of the original mod therefore parts of the content will differ.
- There are currently no plans on backporting this mod to older versions of Minecraft.
- Feel free to use this mod in modpacks! :)
