Description
Mortar (and Pastels)
This mod is a relatively lightweight building mod that aims to fix some of the gaps in the vanilla block sets.
New Dyed Variants
To fill in the holes in the vanilla dye colors, Mortar introduces 8 new dye colors, bringing the total count in the game to 24.

From left to right, these new colors are:
- Maroon
- Scarlet
- Amber
- Pear
- Pine
- Slate
- Lavender
- Salmon
Only one of these is really pastel but the name Mortar and Pastels was too good)
All of these dye colors have the same blocks and items as vanilla; concretes, terracottas, banners, bundles and more!
There has been careful work done to ensure the new dyes are integrated as tightly into the game as all vanilla ones while not adding an excessive number of related additions. Various recipes have been added or altered to fit the new dye colors in, and you'll find the dyed blocks throughout vanilla structures and biomes.
Alternate Stone Block Sets
The alternate stone types have all been given the same treatment as Tuff in terms of variants. Andesite, Calcite, Diorite, and Granite now all have brick sets. Calcite also has a new polished set.

Stairs, Slabs, and Walls
Several missing stair, slab, and wall variants of existing blocks have been introduced. This includes Smooth Stone Stairs, Quartz Brick variants, and others for where there is a precedent for them existing.

Chiseled Bricks
Brick blocks without chiseled variants have been given ones. This includes Prismarine, Red Nether, and End Stone bricks.
