Multi Remote Rods
No reviews yet
Multi Remote Rods removes Minecraft’s one-active-fishing-bobber-per-player limitation and turns each fishing rod into an independent remote controller.
Includes quality of life improvements and small tweaks to enhance and customize gameplay.
Fabric is a mod loader for versions 1.14+ of Minecraft, particularly popular for client side and optimization mods.

About
Description
Every fishing rod receives its own persistent identity and can interact only with the bobber linked to that rod. This allows one player to connect different rods to different Stasis Chambers, redstone systems, or other remote-triggered mechanisms.
Rod A → Bobber A → Stasis Chamber A
Rod B → Bobber B → Stasis Chamber B
Rod C → Bobber C → Another redstone system
Features
- Use multiple active fishing bobbers at the same time
- Independent Rod UUID system for every fishing rod
- Each rod retrieves only its own bobber
- Cross-dimension support
- Control separate bobbers in the Overworld, Nether, and End
- Bobbers remain persistent after chunk unloads
- Bobbers survive leaving and rejoining the world
- Bobber connections persist after fully closing and restarting Minecraft
- Bobbers remain active after player death and respawn
- Rods can be stored in chests, shulker boxes, and bundles
- Connections remain intact with
keepInventoryenabled or disabled - Prevents duplicate bobbers while a saved bobber is still loading
- Preserves vanilla pressure plate and redstone interaction
The mod does not replace bobbers with virtual coordinates, commands, or artificial triggers. It continues to use real vanilla FishingBobberEntity instances in the world, allowing it to work with existing vanilla Stasis Chamber designs.
How It Works
The first time a fishing rod is used, it receives a unique persistent identity. The bobber cast by that rod is linked to the rod’s UUID.
Using another fishing rod does not retrieve the existing bobber. Instead, the second rod creates and controls its own independent bobber.
To retrieve a bobber, you must use the same rod that originally cast it.
Warning
This version is a release candidate and has primarily been tested in singleplayer and Hardcore worlds.
Back up important worlds before using the mod. Multiplayer and heavily modded server environments have not yet been tested extensively.
