Description
Multiple Respawns
Register multiple beds and respawn anchors, and automatically respawn at the closest valid registered point when you die. Keep your favorite respawn locations organized, give them custom names, and let the mod handle the rest.
Features
- Multiple respawn points: Register as many beds and respawn anchors as you need.
- Quick registration: Right-click a bed to register it, even during the day, or a charged respawn anchor to add it to your list.
- Custom names: Give each respawn point a memorable name when registering it. Press Esc to skip naming.
- Smart respawning: Automatically select the closest valid registered respawn point in the dimension where you died.
- Respawn notifications: See the name of your respawn point in the action bar, or its type and coordinates if it has no name.
- Simple point management: List, rename, and remove your registered points using straightforward commands.
- Persistent storage: Your registered points survive deaths, logouts, and server restarts.
- Multiplayer support: Each player maintains their own independent list of respawn points.
- Automatic validation: Invalid, obstructed, or uncharged points are skipped when selecting a respawn location. Destroyed beds and anchors are removed from the lists of players who registered them.
- Vanilla fallback: If no registered respawn point is available, normal vanilla respawn behavior takes over.
How It Works
- Right-click a bed or a charged respawn anchor to register it.
- Give the point a custom name in the popup, or press Esc to skip.
- When you die, Multiple Respawns searches your registered points in the dimension where you died and selects the closest valid option.
- Your selected location is shown in the action bar when you respawn.
Beds can be registered during the day without sleeping in them. Normal sleeping and respawn anchor charging continue to work as they do in vanilla Minecraft.
Commands
All commands are available to players and affect only the executing player's registered points.
/respawns list- Display your registered points, including their names, locations, and distances./respawns rename <number> <name>- Rename one of your registered points./respawns remove <number>- Remove a point from your list without destroying the bed or anchor.
Compatibility
- Minecraft: 26.3
- Mod loader: NeoForge
- Installation: Required on both the client and server.
- Networking: Uses a small network message to support the point-naming popup.
Lightweight and Straightforward
Multiple Respawns gives you more control over where you return after death without replacing Minecraft's normal bed or respawn anchor mechanics. Register your locations, name them, and let the mod choose the closest valid option when you need it.
