My Chest Lock is a lightweight protection mod focused entirely on vanilla storage blocks: chests, barrels, and shulker boxes. It lets you claim these containers, assign an owner and trusted players, and shows nearby protected blocks with colored outlines depending on your relationship to them: green if they’re yours, orange if you have access, and red if you don’t. The mod does not add new chests or modify modded containers — it simply improves security for vanilla storage in a clean, server-friendly way.

This is the first version of the mod, focused on building a solid vanilla protection system before expanding into bigger features. Future updates are expected to add more content, including upgradeable containers and a more engaging progression-based mechanic built around storage improvement and customization
