My Death Reasons helps you find out by tracking the sources of damage that lead to your death. Instead of relying only on the vanilla death message, this mod gives you a clearer view of recent damage events and their origins.

Required on both client & server side.

  • Tracks recent damage taken by players.
  • Shows who or what hurt you — including attackers and their projectiles (e.g. “Skeleton (Arrow)”).
  • Displays damage reasons directly on the death screen when hovering over the new Death Reasons button.
  • Outdated damage events are automatically cleaned up to keep data fresh and relevant.
