Does not follow a specific thematic focus apart from vanilla Minecraft.
Used for mods with little to no gameplay elements.
Adds or modifies hunger and stamina systems for more complex survival mechanics.
Includes quality of life improvements and small tweaks to enhance and customize gameplay.
Neoforge is a fork of the Minecraft Forge available for versions 1.20.1+ of Minecraft. Many Forge mods are compatible with Neoforge and vice versa.

About
Description
Customization of natural regeneration and food exhaustion mechanics. Allows for hunger drain and lethal starvation damage on any difficulty, including peaceful.
By default it makes natural regeneration slower and prevents rapid health recovery from saturation though you can of course turn this back on.
While this mod is not necessary on the client and may be run purely server side, due to how food level is handled by Mojang on peaceful mode, you may encounter visual desync on your hunger bar if playing on peaceful. Installing the mod on the client resolves this.
