Mounts can now swim and won't dismount players when in water.
Adds new methods of transportation for players.
Data Packs were introduced to vanilla Minecraft in version 1.13 and allow the server to modify data about the game, or run commands. Data Packs are compatible with all mod loaders.

Mojang finally adds swimming horses with the Mounts of Mayhem Game Drop - which makes this data pack kind of redundant. Therefore it'll be archived.
Nice Swimming Mobs allows players to swim with their favorite mounts. Simply ride into water and start swimming. When a mount is submerged you can swim up by pressing the Sprint-Key. Mounts also don't take drowning damage when ridden. (Striders are technically supported but keep in mind that they take damage when in water.)

🛠️ How to, Instructions & Commands
The datapack usually just needs to be installed. There is nothing else you have to do. It just works out of the box.
But if you are playing on a PaperMC Server (or a PaperMC Fork like Purpur) make sure to set allow-non-player-entities-on-scoreboards in your paper config files to true in order for everything to work properly.
