About

Description

This mod was developed with the help of the MCreator app and was designed for forge only.

This mod modifies 3 main features that can be toggled on/off independently all of them with the main purpose of getting rid of the need for villagers and xp farms to get good gear. This was originally thought because the only way of getting all the enchantments you want in normal minecraft force the player to deal with getting a million villagers every time you need one enchantment you need and build some time of farm which is probably very slow or requires a lot of time to build. For example, enderman farms require you to go to the end, and that isn't even the start of building the farm.

All of the features can be disabled through the command: /xp_gamerule <word> <bool>  . Where <word> can be replaced by either XpFix , BookDupe or UnbreakableBook which each stand for one of the features of the mod. <bool> can only accept the values 0 or 1 where 1 means enabled and 0 means disabled.

The first feature of the mod (XpFix) changes how xp works. On the vanilla game xp is considered a resource that you can get through various methods and can be lost by enchanting or dying. In this mod, xp changes to be considered to be like progressing through the game. So having higher levels of xp allow you to enchant higher level things like normally but you can't lose xp by enchanting, only by dying. So if you use an enchantment table or an anvil you will need at least the amount of levels you normally need, but when you try to use them you won't lose the levels you worked so much to get.

The second feature is  the BookDupe which adds a new thing you can do. If you have books on your off-hand and an enchantment books on your main-hand, by left-clicking an anvil you will consume one of your books and convert it into another of the enchanted book. And this also fixes the problem where every time you combine to items on an anvil, the new enchanted item will have the xp costs increased, and if you get high enough it won't even allow you to enchant item again because it's too expensive! so when you dupe books the cost on those books will be reset to 0 so for the next thing you combine them with, will have a more decent cost.

The last thing this mod adds (UnbrekableBook) is a new enchantment called Unbreakable which can be obtained from the enchantment table, villagers, and loot in chests. This new book can be applied to everything but initially it won't work. The way of making the enchantment work is by dropping then enchanted item on the floor. Then when you pick it up, that tool/armor will be unbreakable for ever! No more xp grinding to repair your tools with mending!! The special thing about this feature is that it doesn't get completely disabled when you type the command because the enchanted book can't disappear. So you will still get it from the same methods than before, but if you disable it, when you drop an enchanted item on the floor, the enchantment will transform to unbreaking I so essentially that book still exists but after dropping what you enchant with it, you will only get unbreaking I.

I hope you like the mod and if you have any problem with it just comment it down below. The versions that I support currently is only 1.18.2 for know but if you want it for another version you can simply ask for it and I may work on it.
