No Thunder Sleep

Mod Info

This mod prevents players from sleeping in a bed during a thunderstorm. This can be useful for immersive or danger/horror modpacks.

Installation

This mod is very simple like most mods, just drop into your mods folder and you're good to go. It will create a config file to allow you to edit the message shown when trying to sleep during a thunderstorm, and enable/disable the mod.

Technical

This is a server-side only mod, and will function with vanilla clients. This mod also works for both single and multiplayer modes.

This mod should work with any other mod that changes sleep behavior as it registers an event subscription to capture any time you attempt to sleep in a bed, without modifying the base event itself.

If you add other mods that allow you to sleep without a bed, this mod will only impact the normal bed sleeping unless the other mod also utilizes Forge's PlayerSleepInBedEvent type, then this mod will change the behavior of that mod as well.
