About:

Ever since the minecraft caves got bigger its gotten far too easy to progress to the point where you only need to find one large cave, go in, and go back up with all the resources you could ever need. Wheres the fun in that?

Well this mod intends to fix that by making ores drop ore chunks.
9 ore chunks can be combined together to craft the original drop.

This small change forces you to explore more than one cave and significantly slows early game progression as each cave will now have less overall resources, while not actually reducing the number of resource blocks meaning mining and cave exploring is still fun.

During the late game silk touch is now really useful, as ore blocks can be smelted directly into resources making it a very efficient way to mine.

In Version 1.0.4 Nether Quartz also drops chunks. It drops between 1-3.
