About

Description

This mod adds a calculator that will help to calculate the optimal setup of machines and processes in order to meet production demands

How to use:

Default keybind to open the calculator is the equals button, can be configured in controls.

The first tab is for inputting the production demands. Drag and drop items from inventory to the 2 rows at the top, or if JEI is installed you can drag from there instead. Rates can be edited by middle clicking the slot. At the bottom of the tab you can also see the setup that would be required in order to meet those demands.

The second tab is a graphical representation of the production information on the first tab, any changes to the first tab will be reflected here.

The third tab is for managine currently encoded recipes, click on them to edit or delete recipes.

The fourth tab is for managing the global speed multiplier of machines. All recipes need to be configured to have a machine that is responsible for processing the recipe. This tab allows you to increase the speed of all machines of the same type, use this when you unlock an upgrade for the machine that allows you to speed everything up by a constant factor or due to a parallelisation upgrade.

The fifth and final tab is where you will be inputting your recipes. Drag and drop items from inventory or from JEI if it is installed. Directly copying a recipe from JEI is also supported. Make sure that there exists at least one output and a machine, otherwise the recipe will be treated as invalid. You will have to manually enter the time taken to complete the recipe in ticks even if you copy it over from JEI (this might be changed soon). Inputs are not required, this is so that you can simulate setups where no inputs are required to infinitely produce a product.
