About
Description
This mod allows you to create factions and have them battle with literal ships that shoot blaster bolts.
This is an early version in development so therefore some features are not there and you will find placeholder buttons in the GUI.
Most of the actions will be done by commands.
Key features:
Create factions
Pick blaster colours for each faction
Put skin URLs to customise the enemy and your faction
Summon ground and naval battles in the sky using commands
Build your own ship, control using signs
Build a custom fleet of ships to wander around and find enemy patrols to destroy
Build a futuristic nation
To be features:
Label cities
Raid AI cities
Custom divisions in your army
Orbital Bombardments
Summoning ground battles via GUI
How to build and control your own ship BASIC:
Step 1: Build a ship (ofc)
Step 2: Make sure you got a lodestone in your ship and make sure it is protected well.
Banned blocks: Bedrock, Obsidian
Step 3: CREW:
Netherite Block: Spawns an admiral once compiled, stationary and essential to keep alive.
Emerald Block: Spawns the Captain, same function with the admiral. Controls both guns and movement.
Gold Block: Bridge Officer, Stands idle, for now cosmetic. They will soon have a function.
Lapis Block: Crew, it has a 50/50 chance of spawning either a trooper or a naval crew, they wander around and guard the ships interiors.
Step 4: Weapons and Control
Each dispenser placed is a blaster cannon. it does not require any connection, it is an active cannon as soon as it is in a compiled ship. They have infinite ammo.
Sign Controls:
-
[compile]
Compiles the built structure into a controllable player ship. Line 2 can be used as the ship name. Line 3 can be used as the ship class/faction name. -
[recrew]
Recreates the ship crew for the compiled ship. -
[forward]
Moves the ship forward. The ship front is detected as the opposite direction of where the sign text is facing. -
[backward]
Moves the ship backward. -
[left]
Moves the ship left. -
[right]
Moves the ship right. -
[up]or[ascent]
Moves the ship upward. -
[down]or[descent]
Moves the ship downward. -
[clockwise]
Rotates the ship clockwise. -
[anticlockwise]or[counterclockwise]
Rotates the ship anticlockwise. -
[cruise]
Toggles cruise mode. When cruise mode is on, using a movement sign sets a repeated cruise order instead of moving once. Using the same order again stops it. -
[autopilot]
Toggles AI mode. When enabled, the ship controls itself in defensive AI mode and automatically enables weapons. Turning it off gives movement control back to the player. -
[weapons]or[weapon]
Toggles the ship weapons system. Weapons must be on for the ship to shoot. If autopilot is enabled, weapons stay on automatically. -
[mode]
Toggles the ship AI stance betweenDEFENSIVEandOFFENSIVE. -
[repair]
Toggles repair mode for the ship. -
[dock]
Toggles docked state. Docked ships stop AI movement and fleet following. -
[fleet]
Toggles fleet follow. Nearby same-faction player-built ships follow the lead ship. If the lead ship has AI off, two AI-on ships are assigned to escort its left and right sides unless they enter combat.
