Description
Open the Doors!
The promise is quite simple, pick an area of your build, turn it into a door, and it will open with a smooth animation.
Door types
- Swinging door, hinged on one corner
- Drawbridge
- Portcullis, which slides up and down
- Sliding door
Previews:
How it works
- Run
/newdoor name(or/newdrawbridge,/newportcullis,/newslidingdoor). - You get a stick. Hit the corners the chat asks for.
- Place a gold block where it tells you. Any redstone next to that block opens and closes the door.
You can also use commands, or open the in-game menu with /bdm to see your doors, open them, edit them and create new ones without typing anything.
What you get
- Choose which way each door opens.
- Auto-close with a timer you set.
- Lock a door, or share it with other players as a user or as an editor.
- Players and mobs can't walk through a moving door. They get pushed out of the way.
- Opening and closing sounds.
- Doors are saved per world, so they never mix between worlds or servers.
- If the server stops while a door is moving, the door goes back to a safe state on restart.
- Plenty of settings in the config file: speed, doors per player, max size, blocks that can't be moved, and more.
Multiplayer Works in singleplayer, servers. The mod is required on the server and optional for players. Without it on the client, everything works through commands. With it, you also get the menu, the step-by-step panel and an outline of your selection while you build a door. Permissions use OP levels, or LuckPerms if you have it installed.
Available in English and Spanish.
