About

Description

Tired of running around several thousand blocks because your last ore vein ran out? You dislike having to rip out large pieces of ground just to get a few hundred pieces of ore?

If so, this is the mod for you. The mod adds ore deposits for all vanilla ores and some modded ores, as well as an Forge Energy powered miner.

An ore deposit is a block that contains a configurable amount of resources, which only breaks if you destroy it or completely empty it, by mining it.

There are currently Ore deposits for:

Vanilla Ores: Coal, Iron, Gold, Diamond, Emerald, Redstone, Lapis, Copper, Nether Gold, Nether Quartz and Ancient Debris,

Modded Ores: Tin, Lead, Silver, Aluminum, Nickel, Zinc, Certus Quartz, Sulfur, Osmium, Ardite, Cobalt, Platinum and Uranium.

mining area  how to run

The miner is a block that is specifically created to automatically mine ore deposits. If provided with a drill head of the correct mining level and the correct tool type, you will have to provide RF for all vanilla and current modded ores for it to scan the 3x3x3 area below it and mine one of the deposits it can mine. If the output inventory contains any items, it will wait until it is empty, before continuing to mine.

Currently, only uranium ore requires a fluid to mine (sulfuric acid).

In addition to this, there are crafting machines: The chemical plant, which crafts fluids and items into a fluid and/or an item., the grinder, which grinds items down to smaller pieces, the smelter, which smelts items, and the crafter which crafts items.

To improve any of my machines you can insert modules, there are three types of modules, speed modules, efficiency modules and productivity modules. Speed modules increase the working speed and increase the energy cost, efficiency modules reduce the energy cost and productivity modules slightly reduce working speed and increase energy cost, but they double the production every few operations.

To get more out of your machines, try the beacon, it boosts all machines around it by half of the speed, efficiency, and productivity modules it contains.

Configuration

For each deposit, there are three categories:

Short distance: up to how many blocks is short distance, the minimum base amount of blocks and the maximum base amount of blocks.

Medium distance: up to how many blocks is medium distance, the minimum base amount of blocks and the maximum base amount of blocks.

Long distance: up to how many blocks is long distance, the minimum base amount of blocks, the maximum base amount of blocks and if the deposit size is supposed to continue growing after reaching the long distance border.

For each ore you can set if it is supposed to generate and by how much the base amount of blocks in a deposit of that ore shall be multiplied. In addition to this you can set deposits to replace mode. In this mode parts vanilla ore veins are replaced by their corresponding deposits. For modded ores, the base ore is generated and then parts of their veins are replaced by their deposits.

Integrations

JEI integration: Recipes are shown in JEI

TheOneProbe Integration: Deposits show remaining blocks in probe

Crafttweaker Integration: Recipes can be changed as part of a Crafttweaker script (refer to Wiki)
