Ore Potion Effects

Ore Potion Effects adds a simple but chaotic twist to Minecraft mining. Every time you mine an ore, you have a chance to receive a random positive or negative potion effect.

The effect you receive depends on the rarity of the ore you mine. Common ores give weaker effects for a shorter time, while rare ores can give much stronger effects. The rarest ores, such as Diamond Ore and Ancient Debris, are the most unpredictable and can give you two effects at the same time.

🟢 Common Ores

Coal, Copper, Iron, Lapis Lazuli and Nether Quartz give weaker effects with shorter durations. You might get something useful like Speed, Haste or Night Vision, but you can also get negative effects such as Slowness, Weakness, Poison or Nausea.

🔵 Rare Ores

Gold, Redstone and Emerald give stronger effects and last longer. You could get powerful effects such as Strength, Regeneration, Resistance or Invisibility, but there's also a chance of getting dangerous effects like Wither, Levitation, Darkness or Mining Fatigue.

🟣 Legendary Ores

Diamond Ore and Ancient Debris are the biggest gamble. Mining one of these ores gives you two random effects at the same time. You could get two powerful effects and become stronger, or get two negative effects and find yourself in serious trouble.

The effects are completely random, so you never know what you'll get when mining.
