Mobs will now drop XP bottles that contain the exact amounts of XP the mob dropped!
Data Packs were introduced to vanilla Minecraft in version 1.13 and allow the server to modify data about the game, or run commands. Data Packs are compatible with all mod loaders.
Forge is a popular mod loader for versions 1.1+ of Minecraft.

This pack makes all sources of xp orbs drop bottles of XP that corrolate directly to the XP orbs it would have dropped,
For eample: if a Creeper drops 3 XP orbs with the values (1 , 3 , 7) it will now drop 3 bottles of XP with the values of (1 , 3 , 7) which will drop those exact orbs when thrown

Technical details:
This datapack executes on all XP orbs that dont have a specific tag, it kills the orb and takes the "value" of that xp orb, and encodes it into a custom potion colour, for a lingering potion that has the item_model of a Bottle o' Enchanting, when thrown #tick checks for area_effect_cloud entitys with the specific colours, then removes the cloud, and summons an XP orb with the specified "value" and a tag that prevents it from turning back into bottles
