Description
Pain and Gain (Core Instincts):
This mod adds a system of dynamic effects that visually and audibly respond to the damage taken by the player, using vignette overlays and bone-cracking sounds at critical health levels.
At 50% health or lower, the Panic state is triggered:
+1 attack damage
+10% movement speed
+10% swimming speed
At 25% health or lower, the Despair state is triggered:
+2 attack damage
+15% movement speed
+15% swimming speed
And:
At 6 hunger points (3 icons) or less, consuming certain vanilla foods (poisonous potato, rotten flesh, raw chicken, or spider eye) grants the Immunity Surge effect for 3 seconds. This effect removes both Poison and Hunger.
The effects are applied automatically and scale depending on your health and hunger level. Perfect for immersive survival, hardcore modpacks, and realistic gameplay — no magic, no buttons. Just instinct.
