Description
Have you ever wondered what the mountains could look like in Minecraft without cutting their peaks off?
This datapack alters world generation to grow mountains up to the world build height limit of Y319 to show their full beauty.
This datapack does not modify anything else, it changes only one parameter in the original worldgen algorithm: to draw the mountains between height Y256 and Y319 as well, so if you are below Y256 you get exactly the same world and will not experience any differences.
This datapack works together with other packs, except those terrain modification ones of course that also modify the same terrain. It has been tested and compatible with Geophilic that improves vanilla Overworld by adding extra features (boulders, tree stumps, bushes…etc.) Also tested with datapacks adding new structures, like Dungeons and Taverns.
It is fully vanilla compatible, meaning you can remove it anytime without issues. For example if you want only certain hills to be higher, you can add the pack, generate those landscape elements (with Chunky or just fly around) and than you can remove the pack. You can also safely convert the generated world to Bedrock and enjoy the higher mountain peaks in Bedrock as well.
