Description

Peek and Fire

Lets you lean left or right to peek around corners and cover, with the camera and your character actually moving instead of just tilting.

Features

  • Peek left and right around corners, walls, and cover
  • Camera leans with the peek instead of just rotating in place
  • Works with combat, so you can actually fight while peeked out

Config

Keybinds for peeking left and right can be changed in the controls menu, no config file needed for the basics.

Animation

Your character plays a real peeking animation while leaning, so other players see you actually leaning out instead of just standing still with the camera moved.

Technical Info

The player hitbox is split into a top and bottom half. When you peek, only the top half shifts in the lean direction while the bottom half stays put. This means your head/upper body is genuinely exposed and hittable while peeking, and not just a visual trick, so it works both ways in PvP.
