Percy's Dummy Item

Percy's Dummy Item is a datapack which adds a craftable item perfect for customising with resourcepacks.

Percy’s Dummy Item is compatible with Minecraft Realms. Whether you're playing in singleplayer, multiplayer, or on Realms, you'll have the same experience everywhere!

By default, the Dummy Item looks like a poisonous potato. Using other datapacks, like Percy's Sewing Kit, players can give it a custom model.

Crafting

The Dummy Item can be crafted by combining a stick and a poisonous potato in a crafting grid. This is a shapeless crafting recipe which yields one Dummy Item.

Using Item

The Dummy Item can be interacted with when held in the player's hand. Custom models that have been set up with the "using_item" property will be able to display different models when the item is interacted with.

Dyeable

Just like leather armour, the Dummy Item can also be dyed. Custom models that have been set up to accept dye tints will have those tints shown when the Dummy Item is dyed.
