Collect arrows shot by skeletons and other mobs!

Ever wondered why you can't pick up arrows shot by skeletons? Pickup Arrow changes that!

This lightweight Minecraft mod allows players to collect arrows fired by mobs, including skeletons, strays, and bogged, just like regular arrows.

Features

  • Collect Mob Arrows: Pick up arrows fired by skeletons and other configured entities.
  • Configurable Entities: Choose which mobs and players are allowed as arrow sources using entity registry IDs.
  • Arrow Type Settings: Configure normal arrows, tipped arrows, spectral arrows, and modded arrows individually.
  • Creative Mode Support: Optionally enable arrow collection in Creative Mode.
  • Automatic Configuration: Default settings are generated automatically.
  • Lightweight: No additional blocks, items, or complicated gameplay mechanics.
  • Multiloader Support: Available for Forge, NeoForge, and Fabric.

Configuration

Pickup Arrow includes a TOML configuration file allowing you to customize which arrows can be collected and who can shoot them.

By default, arrows from skeletons, strays, and bogged are enabled.

Install the appropriate version for your mod loader and enjoy collecting arrows!

Forge Warnings:

- A restricted method in java.lang.System … has been called

  • This is not an error/bug caused by forge and an expected behavior in Java 25.
  • You can set the JVM-Arguments to [ --illegal-native-access=allow\ ]. This will disable the display of warnings.
