Description
Overview
This mod allows you to build a relationship of trust with Piglins—creatures with whom you could previously only barter using gold ingots.
Once a bond of trust is established, Piglins become friendly and allow for various types of bartering—conducted quickly and via direct hand-to-hand exchange.
You can also lend them armor and weapons directly. Additionally, under specific conditions, you can prevent them from transforming into Zombified Piglins in the Overworld.
Enjoy a rich bartering economy with the Piglins.
Key Features
The Ultimate Gift : After installing this mod, give a gold ingot to a Piglin with whom you wish to build trust. Then, try handing a gold block to that same Piglin (by right-clicking). Doing so will cause them to recognize you as a trusted trading partner. Once acknowledged as a trusted partner, Piglins will no longer turn hostile toward the player, even if you aren't wearing gold armor. Furthermore, you will be able to do a variety of things, such as the following :
Diverse Bartering : You can now trade using Gold Blocks and Gold Nuggets in addition to Gold Ingots. Gold Nuggets yield smaller returns and lower chances of a "jackpot" item, while Gold Blocks offer larger returns and higher chances of a jackpot.
You can also barter with any "gold-based item" that Piglins love. In addition to the standard trade rewards, they will give you a small amount of gold as a token of appreciation for these items. If you give them items players cannot craft—such as Golden Horse Armor or Enchanted Golden Apples—they may even reward you with extremely rare Nether items.
Armor Lending System : Possessing a warrior's spirit, they will happily accept and equip any armor or weapons you give them. As a "thank you," they will toss back a small amount of gold. If you swap out their equipment after a certain period, they will give you another "thank you" reward.
Survival in the Overworld : Normally, Piglins transform into Zombified Piglins when in the Overworld. However, with this mod installed, you can prevent this transformation by cultivating Nether Wart or placing Nether Wart Blocks in their immediate vicinity.
Curing Zombified Piglins : Zombified Piglins can now be cured in the exact same way as Zombie Villagers. Once cured, they will immediately regard you as a "trusted trading partner."
However, exercise caution when curing them in the Overworld; without Nether Wart or Nether Wart Blocks nearby, they will revert to being Zombified Piglins.
Collective Responsibility : Normally, Iron Golems do not view Piglins with whom you have a trusting relationship as enemies. However, if you—their trading partner—provoke a Golem, the Piglins will share your fate and become targets of hostility from the village.
Healing Piglins : Handing pork to a friendly Piglin not only earns you an item but also grants the Piglin the Regeneration effect. Be sure to give them pork if they take damage.
