Description

Ping is a client-side Fabric mod for Minecraft 1.21.8 that lets you create temporary waypoint beacons and share them through chat with other players using the mod.

Look at a block or entity, press your configured ping key, and Ping sends a compact chat payload containing the location. Any player with the mod installed can detect that message in chat and render the waypoint in their world if they are in the same dimension.

Notes

  • This mod does not require server installation
  • Other players need the mod to see the waypoint markers
  • The chat message must preserve the embedded ping payload for detection to work
