About

Description

Overview

This mod adds Satisfactory-style marking of blocks for other players to see. There are two types of how the ping is displayed, depending on your distance from the ping (your own or someone elses ping). The first a block outline which is only shown if you are near enough (the switch distance can be changed in client config). If you are further away from the ping then it will be shown as a colored beacon beam.

Config

Client

Current customization options include the color of your pings, the length a ping stays in the world or if to show players heads on the ping.

Server

On the server the maximum distance where can be pinged and a cooldown between pings can be set.

Further development

This mod is open source and can be contributed to. It will be a feedback driven development, so it depends on how well the mod is received. One idea for extension was supporting map mods to display the pings there, but due to limited time of me this is not confirmed.
