Both required. Install matching builds and their dependencies on the server and clients. The server manages membership, permissions and group actions; clients provide the menus and party display.

Description

Keep your regular group together and form a party when it's time to head out. Pixel Teams and Parties adds invitations, rosters, private chat, friendly-fire settings and nonlethal duels.

On 26.3, persistent teams are guilds with editable ranks, permissions, officer chat, member notes and a message of the day. Parties stay separate, so a temporary adventure group doesn't replace your guild. The older 1.21.1 build uses the simpler team system.

Press Right Shift to open the group menu. Add Pixel Map for shared terrain and pings, Pixel Chunks for group land, or Pixel Dungeons for party adventures.

Dependencies

  • NeoForge builds for Minecraft 1.21.1 (Java 21) and 26.3 (Java 25). Install on the server and clients.
  • The 1.21.1 build needs no extra mods. The 26.3 build requires Pixel Library 0.1.0-alpha.1+ and NeoForge 26.3.0.101+.
  • Pixel Map 0.4.0+ or matching Map V2 is optional for shared exploration, markers and pings.
  • Pixel Quests is optional for the 26.3 quest bridge. Iron's Spells has an optional 1.21.1 friendly-fire adapter.
  • Pixel Chunks and Pixel Dungeons are companion mods, not requirements.
