Player Extension: Spellcasting Compat

Player Extension: Spellcasting Compat is a client-side Forge addon for Entity Model Features player packs such as Fresh Animations: Player Extension.

Those packs animate the player after other mods have posed the arms, so the pack's arm pose can overwrite the pose from an Iron's Spells cast or a Palladium power such as Stockpile from NBC Heroes. This mod keeps those arm animations while they're active.

Features

• Keeps arm poses from Palladium (including NBC Heroes powers) and Player Animator (including Iron's Spells) while they're active.
• Held arms follow the body's movement, such as leaning, bobbing and crouching, instead of freezing in place. This is on by default and can be turned off with general.armsFollowBody.
• With First-person Model installed, it hides the duplicate arms and held item that show up during casts, so only one set is visible. The behavior is set by first_person_model.duplicateArmsMode.
• Ignores Smooth Player Animations layers by default. You can change the list in the config.

Known limitations

• Without First-person Model, the first-person hand view isn't changed.
• Only Palladium and Player Animator arm animations are detected. Other mods that pose arms directly aren't handled.

Reporting problems 

Set debugLogging = true in config/pe_spellcasting_compat-client.toml, reproduce the issue, and attach latest.log to your report.
