Description

Transform your survival journey into an epic experience, where every action — from mining a block to defeating a dragon — contributes to your character's growth. Visit the Wiki to see the full potential of this mod (coming soon).

Player Level Skills is a rework mod for Minecraft version 1.21.11 of the LevelZ mod (by Globox_Z, visit the original LevelZ project). Much of the code has been rewritten for the 1.21.11 methods, but I maintained the textures and the basic idea of skills, as well as the restrictions and unlocks used in the original project. All credit for the idea and base code belongs to the original creator, Globox_Z. What has been changed/implemented:

This mod Requires:

LibZ Rework

  • Rebalancing of skills to a higher level without making the character a "God" at maximum level, but overpowered;
  • Introduced creative flight upon reaching maximum level in all skills;
  • Separated enchantments from potions and fixed enchantment blocks. (If you have a sword with a sharpness of 5 but don't have the minimum required magic level, the enchantment won't work. This applies to all enchantments);
  • Separated from agility, the water-related attributes were created, and the swimming skill was developed;
  • Removed the anvil level cap when you reach the maximum level of the Simithing skill (the actual cost will still be expensive, but you can continue repairing your equipment);
  • Fixed and improved the food bonus according to skill level;
  • Fixed some texts and translations (there is still work to be done here);
  • Added rare candy to dungeon loot and trades from clerics and wandering traders;
  • Optimized and removed some very intrusive codes;
  • Added an auxiliary recipe for the strange potion (in addition to crafting the potion normally);
  • Fixed screen locking when enchanting, making potions, or crafting items. Now you will see the raft, but you will not be able to remove it if you do not have the necessary crafting level;
  • Optimized bonuses that gave a chance of something, now they scale with the skill level and at the maximum level the chance is almost 100% (so it doesn't become too OP);
  • There are 350 total points needed to level up all skills, being: 10 initial points, + 297 points from skill levels (each level gives +3) and the rest acquired through rare candy;
  • Added a click to access the screen via level in the inventory, K key (configurable), or through the tabs as before; Requires Fabric-API, LibsZ Rework, Mod menu, and Cloth Config (edit)

Requires:

 Fabric-API, LibsZ Rework, Mod menu and Cloth Config (edit)

Modpack Permission:

Feel free to use it in any modpack.

Any suggestions or bugs, please send them in the comments (feedback is welcome)

In progress:

Finishing translations;
Adding restrictions on potion usage;
Adding restrictions to new copper equipment;
LevelZ has an addon called JobsAddon which adds jobs to get levelz experience or money, I'm working on it too.
