Description

Summary:
Pocket Money is a small mod, available on 1.21.4 and 1.21.1 Neoforge, and 1.19.2 Forge, made to be used by server admins who want to add an economy to their worlds. It adds seven coins with related Advancements for collecting them. The aim of this mod is to add currencies without any complexity, so they can be utilised by server admins however they wish. The coins are also uncraftable, except to go up/down denominations from Copper to Gold, to help keep players from breaking your economy.
NOTE: As of the port to Neoforge, all versions will be "no drops" versions, and require full setup by the server/modpack developer using the mod (I recommend KubeJS and LootJS, or CraftTweaker) . This is to avoid some issues that uploading two versions caused for a couple of large servers who reached out to me about it as using a modlauncher like CF which allows you to update to latest version caused their games to swap from the no-drops to drops versions if I uploaded updates in the "wrong" order, which made mob farms spit out coins and affect their server economies. As the mod has always required some amount of set up anyway, this is the neatest solution.
The Coins:
The mod adds three coin tiers; Copper, Silver, & Gold, plus additional coins for use as seperate tokens (on our server we use them as event currencies that players win to get unique items). These include the Platinum Token, Snow Token, Lunar Token for events, and the Pokedollar for use on Cobblemon and Pixelmon servers.
Note: By default none of the coins are obtainable in Survival. It is up to whoever manages your server to implement them into loot pools, rewards, etc. I personally use KubeJs to add copper coins to many chests throughout the world and as quest rewards with FTBQuests. We have Pokedollars drop by winning battles, evolving pokemon, and levelling up pokemon by using the Cobblemon Quests addon for FTBQuests.

Recipes:
- 9 Copper Coins = 1 Silver Coin
- 1 Silver Coin = 9 Copper Coins
- 9 Silver Coins = 1 Gold Coin
- 1 Gold Coin = 9 Silver Coins

Advancements:
- "It Makes Perfect Cents!" - Get your first Copper Coin
- "Silver Linings" - Collect your first Silver Coin
- "Midas Touch" - Gain your first Gold Coin
- "Gee, thanks a Bullion!" - Earn a full stack of 64 Gold Coins
- "Token of Appreciation" - Claim your first Platinum Token
- "Cold Hard Cash" - Aquire your first Snow Token
- "Year of the Crafter" - Invest in your first Lunar Token
- "Meowth used Payday" - Recieve your first Pokedollar

Mod Editions:
There are two versions of the mod, one with mob drops and one without. Please make sure you are downloading the correct edition for what you want on your server. The latest uploaded is the version with mob drops enabled. The no-drops version can be found under Files, and is clearly named.
How to Obtain:
- with mob drops, you will see zombies, husks, skeletons, strays, pillagers, and piglins occasionally drop the coins alongside most of their usual loot
- Zombies, Husks, Skeletons, Strays, and Pillagers rarely drop just one Copper coin.
- Zombified Piglins rarely drop one copper coin, and have an even rarer chance to drop one Silver coin
(note that the 1.18.2 version also disables Wither Skulls dropping from Wither Skeletons due to loot pool edits, to help avoid greifing by player's making the Wither, and as a result makes the Nether Star unobtainable in standard gameplay. This was removed in the 1.19.2 edition onwards as there are other neater methods to remove the Wither - eg. /tp into the void)
- without mob drops, the coins are unobtainable in survival, and are designed for server moderators who want to have full-control of how their players gain currency. This version makes no edits to vanilla mob drops what-so-ever.
