8E0N's Portable VinURL Jukebox

Take your music anywhere with 8E0N's Portable VinURL Jukebox! This mod adds a craftable portable jukebox called 8E0N's Resonance Reliquary, allowing you to carry and play your favorite VinURL custom music discs wherever your adventures take you.

This mod was created specifically around VinURL's API to bring custom music discs into a portable format, allowing players to enjoy their favorite tracks without being tied to a placed jukebox.

Designed primarily for multiplayer, nearby players can hear the music just like they would from a normal jukebox, making it perfect for exploring, building, roleplay, and hanging out with friends. It also works perfectly in singleplayer.

Project Notice

This mod was originally created just for my friends and me to use in our own multiplayer sessions. It started out unlisted and wasn't intended for public distribution.

I've now decided to make it public. Features, compatibility, and future updates are still shaped around our own gameplay needs and the modpacks we play, but anyone is welcome to download and use it.

🎮 Controls

💿 Insert a Disc

• Hold 8E0N's Resonance Reliquary in your main hand.
• Hold a VinURL disc in your off hand.
• Press Shift + Right Click.

⏏️ Eject a Disc

• Hold 8E0N's Resonance Reliquary in your main hand.
• Leave your off hand empty.
• Press Shift + Right Click.

▶️ Play / Stop Music

• Hold 8E0N's Resonance Reliquary in your main hand.
• Press Right Click to play or stop the inserted disc.

⌨️ Toggle Playback (Keybind)

• Assign your preferred key in Controls → Key Binds.
• Press the key to instantly play or stop the currently inserted disc.

📦 Requirements

• Fabric Loader
• VinURL (required) 

🤝 Compatibility

This mod was designed specifically with the Prominence II modpack in mind and includes Trinkets compatibility for that environment.

It may also work with the standalone Trinkets mod, but this has not been fully tested.

🚧 Future Updates

The mod is complete and functional in its current state, but it may receive updates in the future.

If development continues, one planned feature is a dedicated GUI for 8E0N's Resonance Reliquary that would allow players to:

• Insert and remove discs through an interface.
• View the currently inserted disc.
• Control playback directly from the GUI.
• Use customizable keybinds for inserting, ejecting, and controlling playback.

These features are planned ideas and are not guaranteed, but they are features I may add in a future update.
