Description
Portcullises adds Modular, Multiblock Doors with a Little Extra Functionality.
There's 3 Different Tiers of Portcullises; Wood, Copper, and Iron! Each one is Stronger than the last, with Iron being fully Blast Resistant. They can also be Right-Clicked with an Axe (or Pickaxe for Copper and Iron) to Toggle the Details on them, such as the Metal Studs on Wooden Portcullises, the Inlay on Copper Portcullises, and the Horizontal Bar on Iron Portcullises!
Portcullises mostly function like their Door Variants; Wood and Copper are able to be opened by hand or with Redstone, whereas Iron Portcullises can only be opened with Redstone.
However, Portcullises are a little more complex, so not just any Redstone Signal will do, and that's where the first "Extra" comes in; the Gate Gearbox!
Gate Gearboxes will open any attached Portcullises when powered, and close them when unpowered! Nice and Simple! They also glow slightly when powered, and have a unique texture!
Now, the next "Extra" allows you to get more Technical with Portcullises: The Portstop!
Portstops detect when they're attached to an Opened Portcullis of any type and output a redstone signal! This feature is why Portcullises require a special gearbox to open with redstone, but the functionality of Portstops FAR outweighs that downside. With Portstops, you can make instant "Redstone" lines that can run in any direction (including vertically) and don't lose power!
This Mod is a Port of my custom Portcullises found in Nostalgia Squared and Taproot, Updated and Improved for General Use!
