Potions Plus Cauldron Banner

Potions Plus turns brewing into a discovery game. Every world gets its own randomized set of brewing recipes. Every item that you encounter could turn out to be a brewing ingredient, and it's up to you to collect them all and figure out what kind of potions each ingredient makes. In additional to the vanilla potion effects, there are 20 new custom potion effects.

Three blocks (the Abyssal Trove, Herbalist's Lectern, and Sanguine Altar) exist to help you deduce those recipes, and once you've learned how to brew a potion you can push it further: merge two potions together, imbue a tool or armor piece with a potion's effect, or broadcast it to everyone nearby with the Potion Beacon.

1. Geode Grace - Mobs you kill sometimes leave ore behind.
2. Fall of the Void - Falling into the void teleports you to the top of the world instead of killing you.
3. Exploding - You blow up when the effect runs out.
4. Magnetic - Nearby dropped items fly to you.
5. Teleportation - Warps you somewhere random nearby.
6. Looting - Free Looting on your weapon.
7. Fortuitous Fate - Free Fortune on your tools.
8. Metal Detecting - Pings when there's metal ore buried near you.
9. Giant Steps - Step up walls without jumping.
10. Reach for the Stars - Reach blocks and mobs from further away.
11. Nautical Nitro - Your boat goes much faster.
12. Crop Collector - Harvests ripe crops around you automatically.
13. Botanical Boost - Plants around you grow faster.
14. Slip 'n Slide - The ground gets slippery like ice.
15. Harrowing Hands - Turns nearby skeletons into your friends.
16. Bone Buddy - A skeleton fights monsters for you instead of you.
17. Shepherd's Serenade - Friendly animals follow you around.
18. Soul Mate - You share damage and healing with everyone else who has it.
19. Flying Time - Speeds up time itself.
20. Bouncing - You bounce when you land.
