Potions, Potions And More Potions

Vanilla potion effects are certainly interesting, but I always thought there were so many new things you could add in order to make them even better. That's why I've decided to put together a small, vanilla friendly mod that will simply expand on the amount of potions available in the game. Potions, Potions and more Potions does precisely that. I've added multiple new potions with unique effects and many more yet to come!

Positive Effects

Acrobatics

Decreases fall damage without affecting your fall speed. Will not prevent you from dying.

Archery

Increases the damage you deal with ranged weapons like bows, tridents and crossbows.

Neutral Effects

Lifting Winds

Boosts targets into the air upon receiving the effect. Can be applied to yourself as well.

Martyr

Each time you hit a target, you will take damage instead. Your target will be healed. Amount of damage / healing will increase with the potion's level.

Negative Effects

Sinking

Targets will be dragged to the bottom whenever they are swimming. The higher the level, the faster they sink.

Weight

More subtle than the slowness effect. Slows targets down by 10% per level.

Lightning

A thunderbolt strikes each of your targets as they are hit by the potion. Will charge creepers or turn villagers.

Fire

Flames will devour your enemies! Throw this potion to set ablaze all enemies within range. This will also light up the block it lands on. You can even drink the potion yourself - though that may not be the smartest idea.

All of these potions can be crafted from an awkward potion. The ingredient required for the crafting process will be listed below.

Acrobatics: Allium

Archery: Flint

Lifting Winds: Feather

Martyr: Gold Nugget

Sinking: Iron Ingot

Weight: Iron Nugget

Lightning: Copper Ingot

Fire: Magma Block
