Prevent named monsters from taking damage. Make them damageable again by naming them killable.

Protect Monsters is a server-side or singleplayer mod that allows you to make monsters invincible by using a name tag on them. If you've ever wanted to keep a pet monster forever, now you can! Make the Warden invincible and allow them to wreak havoc. Keep monsters safe when they are crucial to your farm. Name an Enderman and then you can hang out with them forever without worrying about them hurting in the rain. Keep your pet Zoglin safe. Whenever you've wanted to keep a monster safe from damage, now you can do so easily with just a name tag!

The Ender Dragon cannot be protected with this mod since name tags cannot be used on the Ender Dragon.

  • Blaze
  • Breeze
  • Creaking
  • Creeper (does not prevent explosion or becoming charged)
  • Enderman
  • Endermite
  • Guardian (including Elder Guardian)
  • Hoglin (does not prevent conversion to zombified in overworld)
  • Illager (any)
  • Piglin (does not prevent conversion to zombified in overworld)
  • Ravager
  • Shulker
  • Silverfish
  • Skeleton (any variant)
  • Spider (including Cave Spider)
  • Vex
  • Warden
  • Witch
  • Wither
  • Zoglin
  • Zombie (any variant)
  • Zombified Piglin
