Description
PVPPractice Mod – Brief Overview (Closed‑Source)
Purpose
PVPPractice is a Fabric 1.21.1 mod that provides a self‑contained PvP training environment for Minecraft Java Edition. It gives players ready‑made kits (pre‑configured equipment sets) and a set of autonomous combat bots (Crystal, Mace, Axe, Sword, UHC) so they can practice attacks, defenses, and advanced tactics without needing other players.
Core Features
- Kit System – Use
/kit <name>to instantly receive a pre‑defined load‑out such as Crystal, Sword, Axe, etc. - Kit Editing – Operators can run
/kitedit <name>to open the kit’s JSON file and modify items, armor, or potion effects. - Bot Duels –
/duelbot <bot>spawns a bot in the arena that fights the player using goal‑based AI. - Custom Arena – A flat world preset that extends down to Y = -100 with a solid bedrock floor.
- Crystal Bot Behaviour – The Crystal bot can break the bottom‑layer bedrock, place obsidian, break it again after a short delay, and fall through, mimicking high‑level PvP techniques.
- Sword Swing Animation – When a bot attacks, a realistic sword swing animation is shown on the client side.
- Mod Menu Integration – All configuration files (kits, bot behaviours, arena settings) appear under a dedicated PVPPractice entry in the Mod Menu for easy editing.
How to Use It
- Install – Install Fabric Loader (≥ 0.15.0) and Fabric API (≥ 0.106.0). Drop the compiled
pvppractice‑*.jarinto the.minecraft/modsfolder and launch the game with the Fabric profile. - Generate the Arena – (Release Ver Only) Run the command
/pvpmap generate. The mod creates a flat world using the preset that reaches Y = ‑100; the bottom is pure bedrock. - Select a Kit – Type
/kit Open The Kit GUI - Start a Bot Duel – Execute
/duelbot start (tier) crystal (how many totems). The Crystal bot appears in the arena, breaks the bedrock, places obsidian, breaks it again, and then engages you in combat. - Edit Kits (Optional, OP Only) – Use
/kitedit <kit>to open the kit’s JSON file, add or remove items, adjust enchantments, or change potion effects, then save. - Adjust Settings – Open the Mod Menu, navigate to PVPPractice, and tweak parameters such as bot attack cooldown, obsidian‑break delay, or world height.
Ideal Use Cases
- Solo Practice – Hone your timing, block‑placing, and combat skills without relying on other players.
- Friend Duels – Invite friends to the same world and each select different kits for balanced or experimental match‑ups.
- Bot Tactics Testing – Observe how the Crystal bot manipulates bedrock and obsidian, then apply similar strategies on public servers.
- Server Training Areas – Server admins can install the mod on a dedicated practice world, giving new players a safe space to learn PvP before joining the main server.
Important Notes
- The mod is closed‑source; only the compiled JAR is distributed. No source code is shared.
- Only the commands listed above and the Mod Menu settings are intended for user interaction – avoid editing the compiled classes directly.
- Compatibility: Fabric Loader ≥ 0.15.0, Fabric API ≥ 0.106.0, Minecraft 1.21.1 (and the 1.21.11 snapshot).
Enjoy your PvP training!
